Terms & Conditions

Effective April 2026 · Applicable to all MadBuds projects and engagements
These terms exist to make our working relationship clear, fair, and professional — for you and for us. By engaging MadBuds for any project or service, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you have questions before we begin, just ask.

Payment Terms

Advance before work begins

Before final delivery
Work begins only after the advance payment is received. No exceptions.
Final files, source files, and deliverables are shared only after full payment is cleared.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be revised after this period.
Delayed payments beyond 7 days of the due date may result in work being paused until payment is received.
All prices quoted are design fees only. Printing, production, photography, stock assets, hosting, ad spend, and installation costs are not included and will be billed separately or paid directly by the client.

Revision Policy
Every project includes 2 rounds of revisions as standard.
A revision round includes consolidated feedback in one go. Feedback shared in multiple messages across multiple days is treated as a new revision round.
Revisions are based on the original agreed brief. Changes to the scope, direction, or concept after work has begun are treated as new requests and may be billed additionally.
Additional revision rounds beyond the included 2 are billed at ₹1,500 per round for standard projects.

Project Timeline & Client Responsibilities
Project timelines are shared at the start of every engagement and are based on timely receipt of inputs from the client.
If the client delays providing content, approvals, feedback, or any required inputs — the project deadline extends by the same number of days. MadBuds is not responsible for delays caused by the client.
Client is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and final content — text, images, logos, references — before design work begins. Changes to content after design has started may attract additional charges.
If a project is inactive for more than 30 days due to client non-response, MadBuds reserves the right to archive the project. Restarting will require a fresh advance.

Ownership & Intellectual Property
All design work, source files, and deliverables remain the property of MadBuds until full payment has been received.
Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership and usage rights to the final deliverables for their intended purpose.
In the event of payment default, MadBuds reserves the right to withdraw all deliverables and revoke usage rights with immediate effect.
Source files are shared only upon specific request and may be subject to an additional source file fee depending on the project.
The client warrants that all content, images, and materials provided to MadBuds are legally owned or licensed by them. MadBuds holds no liability for copyright violations arising from client-supplied materials.

Third Party Costs
All third party costs including but not limited to printing, production, photography, stock images, fonts, hosting, domain registration, ad spend, and installation are entirely the client's responsibility.
MadBuds may assist in coordinating with third party vendors as part of a project — however, all vendor payments are made directly by the client.
MadBuds holds no liability for the quality, timelines, or outcomes delivered by third party vendors.

Cancellation Policy
Before work begins
Advance refunded minus 10% administration fee
After work has begun
Advance is non-refundable
After first draft is shared
75% of total project fee is due
After final delivery
100% of total project fee is due
Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or WhatsApp message.

Confidentiality & Portfolio Rights
MadBuds treats all client information, business details, and project briefs as strictly confidential and will not share them with third parties.
Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, MadBuds reserves the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio — on the website, social media, presentations, and other promotional material.
Clients who prefer their work to remain private may request a confidentiality agreement before the project begins.

General
Engaging MadBuds for any project — verbally, via WhatsApp, email, or any other medium — constitutes acceptance of these terms.
MadBuds reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available at madbuds.in.
Any disputes arising from a project will first be addressed through direct conversation. MadBuds believes in resolving everything with honesty and transparency.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, jurisdiction Surat, Gujarat.
